It’s a great binder for organizing all your recipes! It came with a handful of page protectors, pre labeled tabs, and tabs you can specify for yourself. It seems bigger then mom’s current recipe binder and the rings appeared sturdy. Should work well! Came packaged nicely too.

Over the last 50 years or so, I cooked numerous dishes from various magazines, cookbooks, family recipes etc. I loved trying new dishes out on the family. I have amassed quite the collection of recipes (that I made tons of notes on – i.e. who liked it, who didn’t, what could be better etc.). I decided that I should organize the family faves to pass on to my children and grandchildren. The binder itself looks nice – has a homey feel to it. It’s sturdy and I like that it comes with the plastic sheets and tabs.

This is a very sturdy, nice looking binder. However, the sheet protectors that come with it do not accommodate standard sized printing paper. It’s a bit smaller than the 8.5×11 paper which makes it difficult to place any printed recipes into the sheets without them bunching up in the middle. It’s unfortunate and makes it look disorganized. Thankfully, Staples exists, but the description and price of this item should reflect that accordingly.
